Connecticut approved $145 million in borrowing to continue electricity-bill credits

The September 8 State Bond Commission vote authorized $125 million for affordability programs and $20 million for EV-charging infrastructure. The administration says this will keep the public-benefits portion of residential bills as a credit through at least April 30, 2027, reducing average overall bills by approximately 3%–5%.
